How does the Scholarship work?
Families who would like to receive financial assistance to pay for Summer Camp are encouraged to submit a Summer Camp Scholarship Application. The amount of the scholarship will be applied to the final invoice for the Summer Camp Registration, reducing the cost of attending Summer Camp. Scholarships will not be distributed as cash.
Where do the Scholarships come from?
Our Scholarship Fund is the result of generous donations from community members, clients, and philanthropic organizations. One of the largest contributors to this fund is the Palm Springs Pathfinders.
What is the Summer Food Service Program?

The following excerpt is from the USDA Food and Nutrition Service website: “The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) ensures that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. This summer, USDA plans to serve more than 200 million free meals to children 18 years and under at approved SFSP sites.”

As an approved site, we receive funding from the federal government for providing meals to eligible campers. We are then able provide an additional reduction to camper fees. You can read more about the SFSP here.
